Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang.

2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.

3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.

4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until the batter is thick and fully mixed.

5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top evenly.

6. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter across the top, then use a butter knife to gently swirl it through the batter to create a marbled effect.

7. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

8. Cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
