Description

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

0.5 cup granulated sugar

0.5 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2.25 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped pecans

0.25 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. Spread chopped pecans on a baking sheet and toast at 350°F for 7–8 minutes. Let cool.

2. Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Mix in the vanilla extract until combined.

4. Add the flour and salt gradually and mix until just combined.

5. Fold in the toasted pecans evenly using a spatula.

6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, flatten slightly, and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. Bake at 350°F for 14–16 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.

8. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Enjoy!
