Description

Smoky and buttery Perfected Cowboy Mushrooms are the ultimate side dish to elevate steak nights, burgers, or cozy dinners. This easy mushroom recipe packs bold cowboy seasoning flavor and works for weeknights or BBQ gatherings.


Ingredients

1 pound cremini mushrooms

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 teaspoons cowboy seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves


Instructions

1. Clean mushrooms with a damp towel and slice in half if large.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add mushrooms in a single layer and let cook undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes.

5. Stir and cook another 5 minutes until mushrooms are browned and tender.

6. Sprinkle cowboy seasoning and salt evenly over mushrooms.

7. Add Worcestershire sauce and fresh thyme. Stir to coat.

8. Cook 3 to 4 minutes more until mushrooms are glossy and well-seasoned.

9. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

These mushrooms taste even better the next day.

You can double the recipe for meal prep or gatherings.
