Description

These Quick 20-Minute Peppermint Patties are a no-bake holiday candy made with creamy peppermint filling and rich dark chocolate coating. Perfect for gifting, cookie trays, or sweet cravings, they’re easy, festive, and ready in just 20 minutes. A minty dessert treat you’ll want all year long!


Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract

1 1/2 cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract until a thick dough forms. Add more powdered sugar if needed for consistency.

2. Roll dough into small balls and flatten into discs. Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

3. While chilling, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.

4. Dip each peppermint disc into the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, and return to the tray.

5. Refrigerate patties until chocolate hardens, about 10 more minutes. Store chilled or frozen.

Notes

Use parchment paper to prevent sticking when dipping.

Adjust peppermint strength by adding more or less extract to taste.

Use white chocolate or drizzle over the tops for variation.
