Description

This Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole is a creamy, comforting, and buttery baked dish layered with shredded chicken, sour cream, and a golden Ritz cracker topping. It’s a family-favorite chicken casserole that’s easy to prep and perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or cozy Sunday dinners.

Ingredients

2 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)

1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup.

3. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.

4. Combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter in a bowl.

5. Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture over the chicken layer.

6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time.

Add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor.

Double the cracker topping if you like more crunch.
