1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Dice onion and mince garlic.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or turkey until browned.
3. Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until soft and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.
4. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half the chopped cabbage, then half of the meat sauce. Repeat with remaining cabbage and sauce.
6. Spread sour cream or Greek yogurt across the top.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the casserole.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
9. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
10. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
