Description

A bold and creamy pasta dinner, this Savory Cajun Chicken and Creamy Garlic Parmesan Linguine recipe features spicy seared chicken served over rich garlic parmesan linguine. Perfect for easy weeknight meals or weekend comfort, it’s the ultimate Cajun pasta recipe to impress.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

12 ounces linguine pasta

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

1. Generously season chicken breasts on both sides with Cajun seasoning.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through. Set aside and slice into strips.

3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain and set pasta aside.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Add cooked linguine to the sauce. Stir well, adding pasta water as needed to loosen.

7. Serve pasta topped with sliced Cajun chicken. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

The pasta sauce thickens as it cools—add a splash of cream when reheating.

Use homemade Cajun seasoning for more flavor control.

Don’t overcook the chicken—juicy is key!
