Description

Savory Garlic Butter Beef and Spinach Tortellini is a quick and comforting pasta dish loaded with cheesy tortellini, tender beef, and fresh spinach tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. This easy dinner idea is perfect for busy nights and delivers cozy, restaurant-style flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

20 oz cheese tortellini

3 cups fresh spinach

5 cloves garlic, minced

4 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.

2. Reduce heat to low and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

4. Add spinach to the garlic butter and sauté until wilted. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.

5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, then add the tortellini. Gently mix until everything is coated in the garlic butter sauce.

6. Sprinkle with grated parmesan and serve warm.

Notes

A little pasta water can be added to loosen the sauce if needed.

Swap ground beef for spicy Italian sausage for extra flavor.

Don’t overcook the tortellini; it should be just tender.
