Description

A one-pan Savory Garlic Chicken and Gnocchi Skillet recipe made with tender chicken, crispy pan-seared gnocchi, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. This easy skillet dinner is a comforting weeknight favorite, packed with bold flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

16 oz gnocchi (shelf-stable or refrigerated)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups fresh spinach

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed. Add gnocchi and cook until lightly crispy and golden. Remove and set aside.

3. Reduce heat to low and melt butter. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping any bits off the bottom, then add heavy cream and stir.

4. Bring sauce to a gentle simmer, then return chicken and gnocchi to the skillet. Stir in grated Parmesan and spinach.

5. Simmer for a few minutes until spinach wilts and sauce thickens. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.

Notes

This recipe comes together fast, so have all ingredients prepped beforehand.

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.

Donโ€™t overcrowd the pan when searing chicken to keep it golden, not steamed.
