Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
¾ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
8 ounces elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons butter
¾ cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 large flour tortillas
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess grease.
2. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
3. In a separate pot, cook macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
4. Stir butter, milk, and cheddar cheese into the pasta until melted and creamy.
5. Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
6. Layer mac and cheese down the center of each tortilla, then top with sloppy joe mixture.
7. Fold the sides and roll tightly into wraps.
8. Optional: Toast wraps seam-side down in a hot skillet for 1–2 minutes until golden.
Notes
Use burrito-size tortillas for easier wrapping.
To make it spicy, add jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese.
Wrap leftovers in foil for easy reheating.
