Ingredients
6 bone-in skinless chicken thighs
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
2. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
3. In a medium bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
5. Pour the sauce over the chicken, coating all pieces evenly.
6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until tender.
7. Optional: Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and broil for 3–4 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
