Ingredients

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

4 cups chicken or vegetable broth

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 to 2 tablespoons chili paste (like Sambal Oelek)

16 frozen dumplings (pork, chicken, or veggie)

2 cups baby spinach or 1 small bok choy, chopped

3 green onions, sliced


Instructions

1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in broth, soy sauce, and chili paste. Stir and bring to a simmer.

4. Add dumplings and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until they float and are fully cooked.

5. Add baby spinach or bok choy and cook 1 to 2 minutes until wilted.

6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and an optional drizzle of chili oil.

Notes

Use frozen dumplings straight from the freezer—no need to thaw.

Adjust chili paste to control the heat level.

For a vegetarian version, use veggie dumplings and vegetable broth.
