Description

This Sriracha Honey Salmon Bowl recipe is a quick and healthy weeknight dinner packed with flavor. With sweet heat from the honey sriracha glaze and protein-rich salmon served over rice and veggies, it’s a perfect balanced bowl meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 garlic cloves, grated

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cups cooked rice

1 cucumber, thinly sliced

2 carrots, shredded

1 avocado, sliced

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, grated garlic, and rice vinegar to form the glaze.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon fillets for 2–3 minutes on each side.

3. Pour glaze over salmon and cook until it thickens and caramelizes, spooning over the fish.

4. While salmon cooks, prepare rice bowls by adding cooked rice to serving bowls.

5. Layer rice with cucumber, carrots, and avocado slices.

6. Top each bowl with glazed salmon.

7. Drizzle remaining glaze from the pan over the salmon.

8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let the salmon cool slightly before refrigerating to avoid sogginess.

To make it spicier, increase the sriracha to 3 tablespoons.

Use jasmine or brown rice for different texture options.
