Ingredients
1 lb chicken thighs
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1⁄4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or linguine)
2 green onions, sliced
1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Slice chicken thighs into bite-sized strips and toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add garlic. Sauté briefly, then stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil. Let it bubble and thicken.
4. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and reserve a bit of noodle water.
5. Return chicken to skillet, add noodles, and toss everything to coat well in the sauce.
6. Sprinkle red pepper flakes and green onions over the top. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for juicier texture and better flavor absorption.
Do not overcook the noodles — slightly chewy works best for this dish.
Add steamed vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for a nutritional boost.
