Description
Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy strawberry dessert made with strawberry pie filling, cream cheese, yellow cake mix, and butter for a rich, creamy, buttery treat that tastes like a mix of cheesecake cobbler and dump cake.
Ingredients
2 cans strawberry pie filling
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
3. Scatter the sliced fresh strawberries over the pie filling.
4. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture across the strawberry layer.
6. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top.
7. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
9. Let the cake rest for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For the best texture, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
If you want more fresh berry flavor, add a few extra sliced strawberries over the top before baking.
This dessert is delicious warm with vanilla ice cream or chilled straight from the fridge.
