Ingredients
4 waffles
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
3. Wash, hull, and slice strawberries. If using frozen, thaw and pat dry.
4. Spread a thick layer of cheesecake filling on one waffle. Top with strawberries. Cover with a second waffle to form a sandwich.
5. Repeat with remaining waffles and filling.
6. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Toast each waffle sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
7. Slice and serve warm with extra strawberries, powdered sugar, or maple syrup.
Notes
Use Belgian waffles for best structure and texture.
Softened cream cheese ensures a smooth filling without lumps.
Chill the filling slightly for easier spreading and firmer texture.
