Description

Sweet Red Velvet Brownie Bites are the perfect mini dessert for any occasion. These fudgy, bite-sized treats are made from scratch with rich cocoa, cream cheese frosting, and a pop of vibrant red. Ideal for parties, Valentine’s Day, or snacking, they deliver classic red velvet flavor in a fun, easy-to-make form.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon red food coloring

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin or line with mini cupcake liners.

2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and vinegar until well combined.

3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.

5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.

7. Let brownie bites cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

8. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.

9. Pipe or spread frosting on each cooled brownie bite before serving.

Notes

These bites are best served at room temperature.

You can freeze unfrosted bites for up to 2 months.

Try adding crushed Oreos or sprinkles on top for decoration.
