Description

This Tender Marinated Flank Steak with a Flavorful Sauce is juicy, bold, and easy to make. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or weekend grilling, this flank steak recipe is marinated in garlic, lime, soy, and Worcestershire, then finished with a rich herby sauce. It’s an easy beef dinner idea that’s full of flavor and easy to store or repurpose!

Ingredients

1.5 lbs flank steak

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.

2. Place flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Coat well.

3. Marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

4. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add beef broth. Simmer to reduce slightly.

5. Add chopped herbs and a spoonful of boiled marinade to create a flavorful sauce.

6. Remove steak from marinade and let come to room temperature.

7. Grill or sear over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side.

8. Let steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

9. Slice against the grain for maximum tenderness.

10. Drizzle warm sauce over slices and garnish with extra herbs.

Notes

This steak is best when marinated overnight.

Always slice against the grain to keep it tender.

Use leftover steak in tacos, wraps, or salads the next day.
