These Thanksgiving Stuffing Balls are the perfect holiday side dish! Crispy outside, moist and flavorful inside, they combine traditional stuffing flavors in fun, bite-sized portions. Perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, easy to serve, and great for make-ahead or leftovers.
Ingredients
6 cups bread cubes
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes. Let cool.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook for 7–10 minutes until softened.
3. In a large bowl, combine toasted bread, cooked vegetables, herbs, salt, and pepper.
4. Gradually add broth while mixing. Stir in beaten eggs until mixture is moist but not soggy.
5. Form into 2-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Increase oven temperature to 375°F and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.
7. Serve warm with gravy or your favorite sides.
Notes
Let the bread cubes dry overnight for even better texture.
You can prepare the balls ahead and reheat before serving.
Add sausage crumbles to the mix for extra flavor if desired.
