Description
This white cheese pizza recipe is the ultimate comfort food with a golden, crispy crust and a trio of cheeses: mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan. A no-sauce pizza loaded with garlic flavor, this easy homemade white pizza is perfect for cheese lovers and weeknight meals alike.
Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons cornmeal or flour (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 475°F and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
2. Roll out your dough on a floured surface into your preferred shape. Let store-bought dough come to room temperature first.
3. In a small pan, heat olive oil and cook minced garlic until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes. Brush garlic oil over the rolled-out dough.
4. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly, add dollops of ricotta, and top with parmesan. Season with oregano and optional red pepper flakes.
5. Transfer pizza onto the preheated stone or pan. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
6. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
This pizza is best enjoyed hot and fresh from the oven.
Use fresh garlic and good olive oil for the most flavorful base.
Don’t overload the cheese, or the crust may become soggy.
