Description

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped (red or green)

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup cooked rice

1 cup refried beans

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

6 large flour tortillas

1/2 cup sour cream (optional)

1/2 cup salsa (optional)

1/2 cup guacamole (optional)


Instructions

1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper; cook until tender.

3. Drain any excess grease and stir in taco seasoning with 1/4 cup water. Simmer until thickened.

4. Cook the rice and season with lime juice or cilantro if desired.

5. Warm the refried beans in a saucepan or microwave.

6. Heat the tortillas for 20–30 seconds to make them pliable.

7. Assemble each burrito: layer beans, rice, beef mixture, and shredded cheese. Add toppings if using.

8. Fold in sides and roll tightly.

9. (Optional) Sear the burrito on a hot skillet until golden on both sides.
