Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

0.5 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

24 soft caramels

2 tablespoons heavy cream

0.75 cup milk chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

2. Add the vanilla extract and mix in the flour until a soft dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Roll dough into balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and press a thumbprint into the center of each.

4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely.

5. Melt soft caramels with heavy cream until smooth. Spoon caramel into the center of each cookie.

6. Melt milk chocolate chips and drizzle over the caramel. Let set before serving.
