1 pound flank steak 2 bell peppers 1 medium onion 3 cloves garlic 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari) 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 3 cups cooked white or jasmine rice 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1 tablespoon olive oil

Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain. Core and slice the bell peppers, thinly slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
