Juicy Steak Caprese with Sweet Balsamic Perfection

Tender grilled steak meets creamy mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze in this restaurant-worthy dish you can make at home. Perfect for date nights, summer dinners, or when you want to impress without the stress.

1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp olive oil 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp honey

Step 1

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer gently, reduce heat, and let it cook until thick and syrupy, about 10–12 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Season the steak on both sides with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Sear steak for 3–5 minutes per side based on thickness and desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5–10 minutes.
