Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

12 oz linguine pasta

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in parmesan cheese until sauce thickens. Add reserved pasta water as needed.

6. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce. Slice chicken and lay over pasta.

7. Let flavors combine for 2 minutes before serving. Garnish with parmesan and parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for a smooth sauce.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
