Ingredients
200 g linguine
450 g beef strips (sirloin or flank steak)
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Season beef strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
2. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat, then add Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
5. Add cooked linguine and toss. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
6. Return beef strips to the skillet. Toss gently and heat through.
7. Top with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Use high-quality Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
Thinly slice beef against the grain to keep it tender.
Add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for extra texture and color.
