Description
Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites are soft, buttery, oven baked biscuit bites coated in sweet cinnamon sugar for an easy breakfast treat, brunch snack, or simple homemade dessert everyone loves.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 pinch salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Separate the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 4 bite sized pieces.
3. Arrange the pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden.
5. While the biscuit bites bake, melt the butter in a small bowl.
6. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
7. Remove the biscuit bites from the oven and immediately brush or toss them with the melted butter while still warm.
8. Roll each warm bite in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
9. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
Use plain refrigerated biscuit dough so the cinnamon sugar flavor stays front and center.
Coat the bites while they are still warm so the butter and sugar stick properly.
Do not overbake, or the centers can lose their soft texture.
