Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine with Spicy Garlic Cheese Sauce is a rich, comforting chicken pasta recipe packed with bold Cajun flavors, garlic cheese sauce, and tender linguine. Perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend indulgence, this easy creamy pasta dish is full of spice, savory richness, and Southern flair.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

12 oz linguine pasta

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

4 oz cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Coat chicken breast with Cajun seasoning on both sides.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken for 6–8 minutes per side until fully cooked. Set aside to rest.

3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente, then reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Pour in the heavy cream, whisking until combined.

6. Gradually stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.

7. Add cooked pasta into the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.

8. Slice chicken and serve over pasta. Spoon extra sauce on top and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Keep pasta water—it helps adjust the sauce consistency.

Use freshly grated cheese for a smoother sauce.

Add red pepper flakes for extra heat if desired.
