Ingredients
1 lb chicken breasts
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or Italian-style)
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Slice thick chicken breasts in half horizontally to make thinner cutlets. Pat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
3. In a bowl, mix together grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic.
4. Melt the butter in a separate bowl.
5. Dip each chicken piece in melted butter, then press into the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture to coat fully.
6. Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the coating is golden and the chicken is cooked through.
8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
This recipe can also be made using boneless chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and taste.
For added crunch, broil the chicken during the last 2 minutes of baking.
