Description
Biscoff Churro Bites are crisp on the outside, soft in the center, and coated in warm cinnamon sugar with a rich drizzle of melted Biscoff spread. They are easy to share, fun to make, and perfect when you want a bite-sized dessert with bakery-style flavor at home.
Ingredients
1 cup water
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Biscoff spread
2 tablespoons crushed Biscoff cookies optional
Instructions
1. Add the water, butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in the vanilla extract.
2. Add the flour and salt all at once. Stir vigorously until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan and forms a smooth ball. Cook for 1 more minute.
3. Transfer the dough to a bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough becomes smooth and glossy.
4. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F. In a shallow bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon.
5. Scoop or spoon small portions of dough into the hot oil and fry in batches for 2 to 3 minutes, turning as needed, until golden brown.
6. Remove the bites and drain briefly on paper towels. Roll them in the cinnamon sugar while still warm.
7. Drizzle with melted Biscoff spread or serve it on the side for dipping. Top with crushed Biscoff cookies if desired.
Notes
Let the dough cool slightly before adding the eggs so the mixture stays smooth.
Keep the oil close to 350°F for churro bites that cook through without getting greasy.
Roll the bites in cinnamon sugar while warm so the coating sticks well.
