Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

8 ounces linguine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat. Add butter and minced garlic, cook until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice.

4. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Let it simmer for a minute.

5. Cook linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water. Drain.

6. In a separate pan, heat heavy cream. Stir in parmesan until melted. Add cooked pasta, and thin with reserved pasta water if needed.

7. Serve linguine topped with chicken bites. Spoon extra sauce over top. Garnish with parsley.
