Description
Quick Easter M&M Blondies are soft, chewy dessert bars made with buttery blondie batter, brown sugar, pastel Easter M&M candies, and white chocolate chips. This easy Easter blondie recipe is perfect for spring parties, Easter dessert tables, bake sales, and anyone craving a festive bar dessert with rich vanilla flavor and colorful candy crunch.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups pastel Easter M&M candies
1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then whisk until fully combined.
4. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt just until no dry streaks remain.
5. Fold in 1 cup of the Easter M&M candies and all of the white chocolate chips.
6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup Easter M&M candies over the top and press them in lightly.
8. Bake for 24 to 28 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the center is just set.
9. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter once the flour is added, or the blondies can turn out less tender.
For extra bakery-style color, press a few more Easter M&M candies onto the top right after the blondies come out of the oven.
Let the bars cool fully before cutting so the slices stay neat and hold their chewy texture.
